Our Approach to Striper Fishing

Captain Kevin uses a combination of deep lake knowledge, modern sonar equipment, and decades of experience to locate and target striped bass. Depending on the time of year, water temperature, and weather, we may use:

  • Live bait fishing
  • Down-lining
  • Planer boards and free-lining
  • Trolling
  • Casting and jigging techniques

We adjust our tactics based on conditions — always focused on getting you on the fish.

What You Can Catch

Striped bass are our main target species — and Rogers, Arkansas is one of the best places in the region to catch them.

Average catches range from 10 to 25 pounds, with regular opportunities to land stripers over 30 pounds. We also occasionally encounter:

  • White bass
  • Hybrid striped bass
  • Catfish (depending on location and depth)

Many guests become members of our exclusive 30-Pound Club — a milestone catch commemorated with a photo and a spot in our gallery.

Kevin had us on fish within 30 minutes. He explained everything clearly, made sure the kids felt involved, and we landed a 28-pounder before lunch.
